Anne Beatty-Martínez, Ph.D.

My research agenda involves the integration of corpus and experimental approaches, including specially adapted speech-elicitation paradigms, eye-tracking, and event-related potentials to study the psycholinguistics of codeswitching and bilingual language control. I am particularly interested in how bilingual experience modulates language processing and cognitive control ability. In my work, I investigate how these relationships may differ across interactional contexts and the extent to which they may depend on individual differences in language use.
