From Saturday, Oct. 5 through Tuesday, Oct. 8, the Downtown and Macdonald Campuses will be open only to McGill students, employees and essential visitors. Many classes will be held online. Remote work required where possible. See Campus Public Safety website for details.

Bio:

Brigitte Dajczer is a composer, producer, and violinist. Her work spans across film, television, and video games ; firmly rooted in years of experience touring, performing & scoring as a violinist; from orchestral, to Klezmer, to eastern European & Balkan folk music, to song writing based in Pop & Global Roots genres.

She is the recipient of numerous awards & nominations; the Canadian Juno Awards, the Stingray Rising Star Award, Québec’s A.D.I.S.Q Awards, the European Game Awards, and Game Audio Network Guild Awards.

Over the past few years, Brigitte has been deeply involved in creating music for AAA Games, be it as musician, composer, recording engineer, string arranger or orchestrater. Credits include: Ubisoft’s Tom Clancy Rainbow Six Extraction, CAPCOM's REVII and RE8, Eidos’ The Shadow of the Tomb Raider, League of Legends' Quiyana Championship Theme and Kin of the Stained Blade | Spirit Blossom, and Netflix's The Witcher: Nightmare of the Wolf.

She recently scored the teaser/trailer to the upcoming MMORPG game Into The Echo, the mobile game Fracter, CBC/NFB's feature length film À Pleine Voix, the critically acclaimed short film Mum Singh, and Adad Hannah's Social Distancing Portraits.
