LimeSurvey and Microsoft Forms Courses

OVERVIEW

Target audience: Primarily staff members, but also graduate students who are developing surveys.

LimeSurvey and Microsoft Forms are two tools McGill provides to conduct online surveys/questionnaires. Microsoft Forms is quick to learn and use, and is perfect for short, simple surveys. LimeSurvey has more powerful features such as granular conditions, and contains many customizable question formats, but has a more complex administrative interface and a steeper learning curve for survey creators.

If you wish to use MS Forms, start with the Lunch and Learn info sessions (Microsoft Forms & Surveys [LTL 2]) where we introduce the basics functions of the platform. Register here.

IT Service's Collaboration Solutions also offer 30 minutes Personal Q&A sessions where you can ask questions to a MS Form specialist. Register through bookings here.
