Beware of a recent phishing scam that is circulating with the subject line "Re: Mcgill". The email asks the recipient to click on a fraudulent link to manage their password. See an example of the message to the left.
If you receive this or a similar message, please DO NOT click on the link or reply to the message. If you receive content from people you do not know or from whom you do not expect to receive messages, delete the email immediately.
This scam is a fraudulent attempt to gain access to your personal information. If you have already clicked on the link and submitted any personal information, you should change your McGill Password as soon as possible. See the McGill Password Reset Checklist for instructions.
If you have received a phishing email or suspect that you have, please report it, by sending the message as an attachment to phishing [at] mcgill.ca immediately.
