New year, new learning technology workshops for instructors!


Instructors, you can now register online for new learning technology workshops, offered by IT Services and Teaching and Learning Services (TLS). In these workshops you will learn to integrate tools such as myCourses (WebCT), Tablet PCs, recording technologies and other learning technologies in your courses.

Some examples of the new workshops include:
LRN-301 – Designing effective online Discussions, Blogs and Journals (2h)
LRN-302 – Using online peer review to get students engaged (2h)
LRN-320 – Engaging students with digital writing: Using a Tablet PC (2h)
LRN-401 – Creating, managing and grading individual and group assignments online (2h)
LRN-404 – Using text-matching software (Turnitin) at McGill (1hr)
LRN-405 – Developing and using criteria for assessment: in class and online (3h)
