A phishing attempt is circulating with the subject line: "IT" and containing the text "general test speed". It contains a link that appears to go to the IT Knowledge Base, but in fact goes to a completely different URL. A sample of the email is shown below.

It is a fraudulent attempt to gain access to your personal information. McGill never solicits any such information by email. If you have already clicked on the link in this email and submitted your personal information, you need to change your McGill Password as soon as possible. In line with our monthly service maintenance, We are conducting a general test speed on our connection to all our accounts.
This will also help to increase speed test of your account to be more accurate. This test will show the true network speed.
Visit: http://kb.mcgill.ca/internethelp [this actually links to a fradulent URL] and submit your query for confirmation of account.
