Continuing update: Network slowdown

IT Services continues to investigate the network issues.

In order to assist our technical staff resolve the issues you are experiencing, please provide us with as much of the following information as possible when communicating your issue to the service desk.

  1. Is your network problems with just one service (eg. Zoom, Teams, etc.) or global (all services)?
  2. Do you have the same problem when accessing McGill websites (eg. mcgill.ca/minerva), and other websites (cnn.com, etc).
  3. Provide the exact location (building and room number) where the network problem occurs.
  4. Confirm the type of devices used that are experiencing a network problem.

There are still intermittent issue with the wired and wireless service on campus. IT Services continues to investigate.

The Lenel service is fully operational.

There are currently intermittent issues with connectivity and internet access to McGill or VPN.

The issues are affecting authentication, wireless connection, Lenel (card reader) and possibly other systems.

We thank you for your patience while we work to resolve this issue.
