The LENEL OnGuard system is a centralized security system for both the downtown and Macdonald campuses.

Target Audience: McGill Administrative staff who are responsible for assigning access rights to card readers.
Prerequisites: Permission of LENEL trainer is required - please contact systems.security [at] mcgill.ca (LENEL Security) before registering or submit an online request.
Duration: 2 hours

The Area Access Manager Training session will introduce Area Access Managers (AAMs) to card reader technology. AAMs’ and Security Services’ rights and responsibilities regarding card readers will be reviewed. AAMs will learn to use LENEL OnGuard’s Area Access Manager Application to add and remove access rights to McGill cardholders. There will also be a practical hands on session to help AAM negotiate the Area Access Manager application.

Note that there is a FOAPAL requirement for instructor-led training. The account will only be charged for missed courses.
