Maintenance that was started last week on the Enterprise Storage Area Network (SAN) will be finalized on Tuesday, August 12 from 9:00pm to 9:45pm.
As a result, some staff home folders (R: drives) and some departmental file shares on the central file servers will be unavailable for approximately 30 to 45 minutes during this maintenance period.
Before the maintenance: Save and close all files on your departmental server before 9 pm Tuesday, Aug. 12. Note, if you want to continue working on a file, you can save the file to your local hard drive and then copy it over to the departmental server after the maintenance.
After the maintenance: You may need to reconnect to your mapped drives. To do this, simply reboot your computer.
