The second portion of the workshop "Unpacking Participatory Democracy", was held in Kerala, India, from January 30 to February 2 2017.  The workshop was planned and organized by Aruna Roy, the 2016 ‘Professor of Practice’ for Global Governance at ISID, and came at a time when there is serious need for reviewing democratic practice. It was a forum to discuss, debate, understand and learn from contemporary theories and practice, to place people at the centre of democratic governance.  The workshop was held with the support of the Institute of Management and Governance of Kerala.  The full program of the Kerala workshop can be downloaded here.PDF icon kerala_workshop_agenda.pdf
