 treal School Board librarians Alissa Rosellini and Julian Taylor will disc
 uss many of the ongoing transformations in the world of school libraries\,
  from library learning commons and makerspaces to online resources and bey

 ellini is a board level librarian at the English Montreal School Board (EM
 SB). She has worked in a variety of private and public school libraries in
  both the U.S. and Canada. She is in charge of EMSB’s Digital Library\, a 
 curated collection of online resources for teachers and students. As a pas
 sionate proponent of children’s and young adult literature\, she is involv
 ed in planning both the Montreal YA Fest (a young adult literature festiva
 l) and the Montreal-wide Battle of the Books competition. She is also curr
 ently chair of the Awards Committee for the Quebec Library Association.\n
 \n \n\nJulian Taylor is board level librarian at the EMSB\, working with l
 ibrary personnel\, teachers\, and educational consultants to help students
  navigate the ever changing world of information and help make them indepe
 ndent learners. Starting as a school-based library technician in 2001\, he
  has also worked for six years at the Ministry of Education as the liaison
  between the Ministry and school libraries in the English sector across Qu
 ebec\, and as part of the team creating resources and providing training t
 o teachers for Digital Citizenship and Information Literacy. He spent one 
 year teaching ESL/EFL in South Korea and is currently the Past-President o
 f the Quebec Library Association.\n
