  the 9th National Neuromuscular Review Course. This in-depth learning oppo
 rtunity will be offered exclusively in person and will take place at The N
 euro in Montreal\, Canada.\n\n\nRegister Here. \n\nRegistration is free fo
 r residents\, $350 CAD for fellows\, and $500 CAD for neurologists\, speci
 alists\, and professionals.\n\n\nWho should attend\n\nThe review course is
  aimed at residents and fellows from Canada and the US\, as well as practi
 cing community neurologists interested in a comprehensive review of the cu
 rrent principles and practices dealing with neuromuscular diseases. \n\nBe
 nefits of attending\n\nThis comprehensive review course may serve to fulfi
 ll part of the preparation requirements for trainees seeking to complete t
 he Royal College Examinations in neurology and in related fields. We belie
 ve this program will assist all neurology residents in preparing for their
  examination. The course will bring community neurologists up to date on n
 euromuscular diseases so that ultimately\, they can improve the diagnosis 
 and care of their patients.\n\nCourse topics\n\nThe course will present ex
 perts who will provide a state-of-the-art overview of topics such as motor
  neuron diseases\, pediatrics\, neuropathies\, neuromuscular junction dise
 ases and myopathies. The speakers will cover basic clinical concepts from 
 diagnosis to therapeutics\, from genomics to immunology. The program will 
 include examination scenarios for those participants wishing to gain exper
 ience in examination situations.\n\nOverall Program Learning Objectives\n
 \n\n	By the end of the review course\, participants will be able to analyze
  the clinical presentation of prevalent neurological disorders.\n	Elaborate
  an investigation plan when suspecting a neuromuscular disorder.\n	After co
 mpleting the review course\, participants will be proficient in reviewing 
 the management strategies for specific neuromuscular disorders.\n\n\n\n\n

 Neurology Residents are available on a first-come\, first-served basis to 
 provide financial assistance to those traveling from within Canada. These 
 awards are for those who have registered to attend the National Neuromuscu
 lar Review Course in Montreal.\n\n		\n			Applications must be submitted by Augu
 st 14\, 2026\, via the travel award form\n			Award amounts will be based on d
 istance\, for a maximum of $500 CAD for Canadian residents\n		\n\n		You will b
 e notified of the status of your application by September 4\, 2026. \n\n		Aw
 ard amounts will be based on distance:\n\n		For Neurology residents travelli
 ng from outside the province of Québec\, approved awards will be in the am
 ount of $500.\n\n		For Neurology residents travelling from outside of Montre
 al\, but within the province of Québec\, approved awards will be in the am
 ount of $300.\n	\n\n	\n		Facility Directions\n\n		The Montreal Neurological Inst
 itute and Hospital is at 3801 University Street\, north of Pine Avenue Wes
 t\, on the McGill University campus opposite the former Royal Victoria Hos
 pital.\n\n		Montreal is served by highway Routes 10\, 15\, 20 and 40\, and b
 y Greyhound Bus\, ViaRail and the P-E-Trudeau airport. In the city\, bus a
 nd metro service is provided by the Société de transport de Montréal (STM)
 .\n\n		Wheelchair access\n\n		A wheelchair accessible entrance is on Universit
 y Street north of the main entrance. Another wheelchair accessible entranc
 e is in the loading area behind the building: to enter the loading area\, 
 turn into the driveway south of the main entrance. Please note\, there is 
 no parking in the loading area.\n\n		Parking\n\n		Parking near the MNI is some
 times difficult. There are parking meters on University Street and a parki
 ng lot north of the main entrance. To enter the lot\, turn right into the 
 driveway toward Molson Stadium.\n\n		Information about parking fees\n\n		Taxi 
 Stand\n\n		There is a taxi stand on University Street across from the main e
 ntrance. You may call a cab from the free taxi phone in the main lobby nea
 r the Security Desk.\n\n		Access by Public Transportation (STM website)\n\n		B
 us\n\n		There are four bus stops within walking distance:\n\n		\n			Bus 144 stops
  at Pine Avenue and University Street\n			Bus 356 stops at Sherbrooke Street 
 and University Street (Nightbus)\n			Bus 107 stops at Pine Avenue and Docteur
  Penfield\n			Bus 24 stops at Sherbrooke Street and University Street\n		\n\n		Me
 tro\n\n		Take the Metro Green Line to the McGill station. Walk north on Univ
 ersity Street and cross Pine Avenue. The main entrance is on the right\, p

 eft and go down the hallway to the end.\n			Turn right and go down the second
  hallway until you see another hallway on the left.\n			This hallway leads to
