DESCRIPTION:Free for McGill members\, these sessions are designed as an alt
 ernative to traditional yoga practices. Trauma Sensitive Yoga has foundati
 ons in trauma theory\, attachment theory and Hatha Yoga practice\, with an
  emphasis on body-based yoga forms and breathing practices.  The classes w
 ill be guided by Jen Wende\, a certified yoga therapist with over 1000 hou
 rs of alignment-based training. She specializes in creating classes which 
 explore new pathways for building distress tolerance\, resilience\, autono
 my and growth of the participants. Through yoga asana and meditation\, par
 ticipants will be encouraged to move at an easeful pace for self-observati
 on of their bodies\, minds and breath.  Through yoga asana and meditation\

 evels welcome. We start where you are today.  All Classes are free but SPA
 CE IS LIMITED.  RSVP to reserve your spot today.   Blocks and water will b
 e provided. Please bring your own mats!   Accessibility: There is an eleva
 tor to take you to the 5th floor. Wheelchair accessible washrooms can be f
 ound on the main floor\, but not on the 5th floor. The washrooms on the 5t
 h floor are accessible by a small set of stairs and are not gender neutral
 .   This space is also scent free\, please refrain from wearing any strong
