 roduction to programming in R. This course is will start by covering the f
 undamentals behind the R programming language and its underlying data type
 s and features. These principles will then be used to demonstrate the appl
 ication of R to the analysis of tabular data from diverse datasets.     At
  the end of this workshop\, participants will:Grasp key concepts and advan
 tages of the R programming languageUnderstand the key data types in R and 
 their use casesKnow how to manipulate data types and to visualize resultsA
 cquire good practices for reproducible researchIMPORTANT NOTICE: Attendanc
 e for McGill graduate students and postdoctoral fellows is subsidized by G
 raduate and Postdoctoral Studies. All other attendees such as undergraduat
