Days of Service: Share Halloween Cheer with Seniors!

Thursday, October 31, 2024 13:30to16:00
CHSLD Vigi Reine Elizabeth, 2055 Avenue Northcliffe, Montreal, CA
 Share Halloween Cheer with Seniors!

Do you want to share the spirit of Halloween while giving back to the community? Come volunteer at CHSLD Vigi Reine-Elizabeth and spend some quality time with long-term care patients! This volunteer placement involves helping to distribute treats and engaging with residents. There will also be a performer to add to the Halloween atmosphere!

CHSLDs (Residential and long-term care centers) are facilities designed for seniors experiencing significant loss of autonomy. Their mission is to provide a safe, hospitable environment while ensuring that residents receive the necessary care and services. Wearing a mask is encouraged.

Registration closes October 21, 2024. First-time volunteers to this activity will be required to complete a Background Check Form by October 25.

By registering to this activity, you agree that your name (first and last) will be shared with the partner organization for logistical and attendance purposes. Once your participation is confirmed, you will receive an email 48 hours in advance with additional information, including the meeting time and location for traveling together to the venue.

When a minimum of 4 hours of volunteering for CHSLD has been completed, you can request a copy of your Co-Curricular Record (CCR), an official document recognizing your involvement in out of classroom learning experiences.
