About

This workshop aims to help early career researchers, post docs and graduate students with the process of developing a grant proposal with a team. You will be provided with a template to develop your idea, find co-collaborators and help with developing your individual grant proposal ideas from conception to execution. We will also discuss tips and tricks, things to avoid and lessons from an experienced grant writer.
The workshop will facilitate the following:

  • You will learn how to think about picking and assembling a team
  • You will sketch a first rough outline and plan-of-action to initiate after the workshop
  • You will gain insight on key issues in forming academic collaborations

Instructions: Please bring your laptop and/or a paper copy of a grant proposal you are interested in. Please bring your drafts or outlines of any existing proposals which you think would benefit from feedback from your peers.
