Isabel Muñoz Beaulieu, BA Joint Honours International Development Studies and Philosophy
Isabel Muñoz is a third-year student at McGill, this summer she is interning remotely with the UNHCR in Guatemala as a Resettlement Intern. The United Nations High Commissioner of Refugees is an organization that protects and assists asylum-seekers, refugees, forcibly displaced persons, and others with protection needs or risk of displacement. Her work this summer will focus on assisting the Resettlement officer in Guatemala in case management functions. She hopes this experience will teach her more about issues on migration and the role international organizations play in it.
