The suspension of University-sponsored travel and international activities that had been in place since March 2020 was lifted on October 22, 2021 following the Government of Canada’s announcement that the global travel advisory had been lifted.

Despite this, traveling during a pandemic poses additional risks and challenges that must be taken into account when contemplating and planning travel.

1. As the campus is closed, how can I reach out to the Internship Offices Network?

2. How can I get signatures for documents?

ION will accept digital signatures or email approvals for documents given the current situation. Please see the following guidance:

For Digital Signatures, in Adobe, there is an option to upload the personal signature. This option is preferable, however digitally signed documents will be accepted. For Email Approvals, the signer should indicate he/she has reviewed the document and gives approval in the email sent to ion [at]
