The Archie Malloch Undergraduate Internships in Public Learning

The Archie Malloch Undergraduate Internships in Public Learning were established by Janet Blachford (BA'61, MA'63) in honour of English Professor Archie Malloch to help one or more undergraduate students in any Faculty through an internship related to gaining experience in the cultural or entertainment sectors.

  • Value: $2000 to $2500
  • Duration: normally 150 hours, May to August

Eligibility criteria

  • Studying as a McGill undergraduate student in any faculty
  • Must be returning to McGill in the fall semester following the summer internship
  • Must be conducting the internship remotely

 

Application

Applicants should have a keen interest in inter-disciplinarity and the function and relevance of humanities scholarship beyond the academy. The internships will include an element of practical training and experience, but will focus on opportunities for intellectual development.
