 m director Eppo Eerkes for a conversation on truth\, resilience\, healing\
 , and the importance of sharing these stories.\n\nAbout Elder Betty\n\nEld
 er Betty Ross is a respected Cree Elder\, educator\, storyteller\, and Res
 idential School Survivor from Pimicikamak Cree Nation (Cross Lake First Na
 tion). She survived both St. Joseph’s Residential School in Cross Lake and
  Assiniboia Residential School in Winnipeg. Her experiences have been shar
 ed through Sugar Falls\, Did You See Us?\, and the documentary Return to t
 he Falls. Through storytelling and education\, Elder Betty shares the trut
 hs of the Residential School system while carrying forward messages of res
 ilience\, healing\, culture\, and strength. After many years supporting In
 digenous patients and families within Manitoba’s health-care system\, Elde
 r Betty now serves as an Elder in Residence with the Seven Oaks School Div
 ision\, connecting with hundreds of students each month. A mother\, grandm
 other\, and great-grandmother\, she continues to travel and work with comm
 unities across Canada\, sharing her knowledge\, lived experience\, and tra
 ditional teachings with future generations.\n
