DESCRIPTION: \n\nEach year\, the Office of Indigenous Initiatives (OII) coo
 rdinates two weeks of events in September involving Indigenous academics\,
  artists\, and community members.\n\nIndigenous Awareness Weeks (IAW) prov
 ide the McGill community an opportunity to learn more about Indigenous cul
 tures\, histories\, and societies. They also help foster a dialogue about 
 First Nations\, Métis\, and Inuit topics important to individuals and thei
 r communities. Since 2011\, invited guests have included academics\, commu
 nity members\, Elders\, and students. \n\nThis year's series marks the 12t
 h annual Indigenous Awareness Weeks at McGill. It will take place from Mon
 day\, September 18th to Saturday\, September 30th. All are welcome to atte

 Anishnawbe\, Oji-Cree\, and Two-Spirit artist NiibinDesigns.\n
