The IMIHW Lab’s research efforts are currently concentrated on three projects: The first project is centered on the evacuation of Nunavimmiut women with medically high-risk pregnancies to southern Quebec for childbirth. The second study focuses on the cross-cultural adaption and validation of the Edinburgh Postnatal Depression Scale or EPDS for Nunavik Inuit women (EPDS-Inuktitut). The third study entails the cross-cultural adaptation and validation of the EPDS for Eeyou Istchee Cree women.
