The Cybersecurity Awareness Month 2021 contest is now closed. Thank you to all who entered!

Win lunch for 2 at Lola Rosa - Cybersecurity Awareness Month 2021 contest

October marks Cybersecurity Awareness Month, an internationally recognized campaign to inform the public of the importance of cybersecurity.  McGill IT Services is marking the occasion  with events and resources to help keep you cybersafe, and a contest to win a prize weekday lunch for 2 at Lola Rosa (value up to $100)! 

Score at least 8/10 on our cybersecurity awareness quiz and enter the lucky draw for one of two lunch prizes that IT Services will be giving away. The contest deadline is October 31, 2021.

Contest Rules and regulations 

How to enter:  

To become eligible to win the prize, entrants must score 80% or more on the  Cybersecurity Awareness Month Quiz. 

Contest period:  

  • Contest closes on October 31, 2021 at 11:59 PM EST.   

Who can enter:  

  • Contest is open to staff and registered students of McGill University. Staff members employed by IT Services are not eligible.   

  • One entry per contestant.  

Winner selection and notification:   

  • All valid entries will be entered in a random draw to win a weekday lunch for 2 at Lola Rosa.  

  • One prize per winner – prizes are not transferable.  

  • Winners will be contacted during the week of November 1.  

  • If a winner cannot be contacted, is ineligible, and/or fails to claim the prize within 30 days from the time the award notification was sent, the prize may be forfeited, and an alternate winner will be selected.  

Rights granted by the winners  

  • To claim the prize, winners must consent to the publication of their names on the McGill IT Services website and other platforms.
