SEAN MCWATT, MSc, PhD, is an Assistant Professor of anatomy in the School of Kinesiology, Faculty of Health Sciences, at Western University in London, Ontario. He is also an Affiliate Member of the Institute of Health Sciences Education at McGill University. Sean completed his graduate degrees at the University of Guelph with a focus on human anatomy teaching and educational research. He currently teaches anatomy to students in the undergraduate Kinesiology, Health Studies, and Nursing programs at Western University.
Current research interests: Evaluating pedagogical resources and classroom/laboratory learning environments; using extended reality in human anatomy teaching; and the use of biometrics and mixed-methods approaches to educational research
