Deborah Danoff

DEBORAH DANOFF, MD, FRCPC, FACP, has a background that encompasses clinical, managerial and leadership administrative aspects of academic medicine, as well as more than 25 years in medical education. She received her medical degree at McGill in 1973, completing her Internal Medicine and Clinical Immunology and Allergy training at McGill where she was in an active clinical and academic practice. She was tenured as Professor of Medicine in 1995 and served as McLaughlin Professor of Medical Education at the University of Ottawa.

Dr. Danoff has held a number of leadership positions in medical education. She is involved in teaching and research as adjunct faculty in the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Ottawa as well as her activities at McGill. In her work across the continuum of medical education she has consistently advanced education, assessment and scholarly activities to assure humanistic quality health care.
