 shop/ book launch which will begin by celebrating the launch of Alex D. Ke
 tchum's new book How to Organize Inclusive Events and Conferences. \n\nThi
 s event will include a workshop that will provide event and conference org
 anizers of all levels with the tools to make their events accessible\, sus
 tainable\, and rooted in social justice principles. Whether you are new to
  organizing or highly experienced\, this book will provide frameworks and 
 practical tips to create inclusive events. No matter the kind of event or 
 conference you are interested in organizing\, whether large or small\, onl
 ine\, in-person\, hybrid\, synchronous\, or asynchronous\, this book inclu
 des what you need to know. From the smallest details (such as what to have
  in your bag on the day of the gathering) to large topics (such as choosin
 g a location\, selecting presenters\, funding\, designing publicity materi
 als\, working with community partners\, etc.) \n\nThe venue is wheelchair 
 accessible\, but due to the entrance design the venue needs to know in adv
