Noblefest 2002

In June 2002, ICAMES research fellows and invited guests held a two day workshop on Arab and Middle East international relations at McGill's Mont St. Hillaire conference facility. The event--better known as "Noblefest"--also commemorated the many contributions of our colleague Paul Noble, recently retired from McGill but still a very active member of ICAMES.

A collection of papers delivered at the workshop has now been published as Bassel Salloukh and Rex Brynen, eds., Persistent Permeability? Regionalism, Localism, and Globalization in the Middle East (London: Ashgate, 2004).
