Statement from Michael Di Grappa, Vice-Principal (Administration and Finance)

The University is delighted to announce that McGill and AGSEM, the union representing teaching assistants, have reached an agreement on a new, three-year contract. The new agreement provides for salary increases of 1.2 per cent per year over the next three years, in accordance with the Quebec government’s salary policy. The agreement also provides an additional 1.8 per cent increase for the first two years of the contract, as compensation for statutory holidays.

Please note this announcement has been corrected from the original, which incorrectly stated that "the agreement provides for the recognition of vacation and statutory holidays by an additional increase of 3 per cent over the next two years."
