New Hires Among CIRM’s Community Managers

CIRM is pleased to announce the arrival of two new research assistants to its team. Marie Chartrand-Caulet and Elyse Mitchell will actively participate in the running of CIRM's activities as community managers. The Centre welcomes them!

Marie Chartrand-CauletMarie Chartrand-Caulet

Marie is a master's student at the Département des littératures de langue française, de traduction et de création at McGill University. Prior to these studies, she completed a bachelor's degree in English and French literature. Marie is interested in the relationship between enunciation, language and literature. Her dissertation is concerned with the coocurrence of "nègre blanc" and the history of the word "nègre" in québécois literature. In her spare time, Marie plays piano, stacks up her books to read, and writes poetry. She is an editor for the creative writing magazine Lieu commun and a member of the Collectif de poésie francophone of McGill.

Elyse MitchellElyse Mitchell

Elyse is a first-year student in the B.C.L/J.D program at McGill's Faculty of Law. Having completed a bachelor’s degree in communications at the University of Ottawa, she is thrilled to be returning to her hometown, bringing her creative eye and passion for communications to her role as Community Manager at CIRM. In her free time, Elyse likes to read, hike, and discover new art exhibitions in the city.
