Following the previous meeting on July 14, the parties met on September 15 to discuss the Union’s rights, the job posting clause, employment applications, and the selection and appointment of employees. The parties came to an agreement on these topics and ratified the English text of the modified clauses.
On September 23, the parties discussed and agreed in principle on changes that may be made to the clause on discrimination and harassment. The question of disciplinary measures was also discussed, and the University will submit a bilingual version of the proposed text at the next meeting.
It is expected that the Union will submit its monetary demands at the September 29 meeting.
