Coronavirus update – Monday, March 9

Published: 9Mar2020

Please take note of the most recent travel advice from the Public Health Agency of Canada.

The Public Health Agency of Canada indicates that while the risk to Canadian travellers abroad is generally low, it will vary depending on the destination.

More specifically, if you have travelled to Hubei province, China, Iran or northern Italy – which includes the regions of Aosta Valley, Piedmont, Liguria, Lombardy, Emilia-Romagna, Veneto, Friuli-Venezia Giulia and Trentino-Alto Adige – in the last 14 days, limit your contact with others for a total of 14 days, starting the day you began your journey to Canada.

This means self-isolate and stay at home. In addition, contact 811 (Info-Santé) within 24 hours of arriving in Canada.

The University’s coronavirus webpage remains the most up-to-date source of information for our community.

Inquiries should be directed to the [at] email address.
