The CIRM is pleased to announce the arrival of two new research assistants to its team. Edmuelle Berre and Inès Zorgati both recently joined the CIRM team as community managers.
Edmuelle is a creative who is passionate about art, culture and design. A jack-of-all-trades, she graduated in Communication from Université de Montréal and completed a diploma in Graphic Design from Collège Salette. She also has a web design training provided by Google under her belt. In love with Montreal, she is interested in the city, its architecture, its culture and its diversity, all of which led her to join CIRM. Outside of work, you can find her in a contemporary dance class or painting.
Newly settled in Montreal, Inès is a PhD student in translation studies at McGill University's Department of French Literature, Translation and Creation. She is studying the translation of neologisms in children's literature under the supervision of Audrey Coussy. She holds a Master's degree in English Language and Literature and worked for several years in the field of communications, and then as an English teacher, before persuing her studies at McGill this year. Curious, passionate about travel, and eager to discover new things, Inès is happy to be settling in Quebec and getting to know the beautiful city of Montreal and its inhabitants.
We wish them a warm welcome to the team!
