On behalf of Principal Fortier, Human Resources is excited to announce the 2019 nominees for the Principal’s Awards for Administrative and Support Staff.
Each year the Principal’s Awards recognize McGill employees – nominated by their colleagues or managers – for their exceptional efforts in line with the strategic direction and mission of the University, with particular emphasis on Service Excellence, Quality of Work, Initiative/Innovation, Teamwork, Service to the Community, and Sustainability.
The high caliber of this year’s pool – 47 nominations for individual staff members and 11 nominations for teams – is a true testament to the talent, hard work, and dedication of individuals and teams across our Faculties, Schools, and Units. See the full list here.

Stay tuned! Principal Fortier will announce the winner in each of the 5 categories (Management and Excluded, Clerical, Technical/Library Assistants and Nurses, Trades and Services, and Team Projects) in the next few weeks.
The awards for each winner include a public recognition at the Fall Convocation ceremony, a luncheon with the Principal, and – last but not least – a $5,000 prize in each category, for a total of $25,000.
