Course objectives:
The Client Service in Times of Change workshop aims to explore how we, as service providers in a University setting, can give value to the voice of the client while managing demands and realistic expectations in these times of change.

The half-day workshop will provide tips and tools for:

• Managing communications with key stakeholders in times of change
• Ensuring clarity of expectations and avoiding the slippery slope
• Saying Yes and saying No in ways that maintain respect, trust and effectiveness
• Engaging clients at various stages of planning, decision making and evaluation to maximize shared understanding, trust and an optimal investment of time and energy
• Involving staff in establishing meaningful feedback mechanisms and measures with clients
