Image Caption:
Black willow is the largest native willow of North America, reaching as tall as 12 m. The weeping willow is a cultivated variety of Salix alba and is native to Eurasia. Crack willow (Salix fragility) is also introduced. All these trees look quite similar, with long thin leaves, thin twigs, smooth buds and bark that is ridged.
