Idea Charts to Direct your Research toward Publication (for Health and STEM fields)

Interested in learning a new approach to organizing your research and scientific writing? This workshop will introduce "idea charts" as a way to focus research by outlining a manuscript, from hypothesis to potential results. Based on a modification of quad charts, used in business for over 30 years, several universities in the US are adapting similar techniques to increase their publications.

Attend this workshop and:

  • learn how idea charts can structure your research and scientific writing
  • apply this approach to your current scientific research

Dr. T. Christopher Corkery has worked in science and research communication for fifteen years.  He is currently the Chief Project Engineer of a start-up that makes medical devices for use on the International Space Station.

The workshop will be held on McGill's downtown campus on Thursday, March 28 from 1pm to 3pm. Registrants will receive the workshop location in a confirmation email.
