Planning and Managing a Collaborative Writing Project

Are you involved in - or thinking of starting - a writing project with multiple authors? Every collaborative writing project is different, but all can benefit from planning and foresight.

Participate in this workshop and you will come away with the following outcomes:

  • An understanding of how to manage collaboration at different stages of writing
  • A set of possible workflow strategies to use based on writing stage
  • An outline of co-authors, their roles, and collaboration styles

Please come to this session with a collaborative writing project in mind and a list of current or potential co-authors for that project.

The workshop will be facilitated by Anastasia Sares, a PhD candidate in Neuroscience who researches the intersection between language and music processing.

The workshop will be held on McGill's downtown campus on Wednesday, April 4, from 1 pm to  3pm.  Registrants will receive the workshop location in a confirmation email.
