DESCRIPTION:Please be advised that classes\, laboratories\, and examination
 s are cancelled on Monday\, October 5\, 2026 in all Faculties\, including 
 the School of Continuing Studies. The exceptions are\n\n\n	students enrolle
 d in the Doctor of Medicine and Master of Surgery (MDCM) program. Classes 
 and other learning activities are not cancelled. For students in Years 1 a
 nd 2\, they will finish by 4pm. Students in Years 3 and 4 will be given 4 
 hours to vote\, either when the polls open or at the end of the polling pe
 riod\, depending on their clinical rotations.\n	students enrolled in the Do
 ctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) program. Classes and other learning activiti
 es are not cancelled and will finish by 4pm. Students engaged in clinical 
 rotations must consult their supervisors and follow the specific requireme
 nts of the institution in which they work.\n	students enrolled in the Schoo
 l of Physical & Occupational Therapy. Classes and other learning activitie
 s for U3\, QY\, and M1 students are not cancelled and will finish by 4pm. 
 M2 students must follow the procedures established by their clinical affil
 iation sites.\n	students enrolled in the Ingram School of Nursing. Classes\
 , labs\, and other learning activities are not cancelled. Students in clin
 ical placements should consult their clinical instructor or supervisor and
  follow the specific requirements of their clinical affiliation site. The 
 key requirement is that all students have access to a minimum four-hour bl
 ock of time to vote. Clinical placements scheduled during the day shift mu
 st end by 4:00 p.m. to ensure students have adequate time to exercise thei
 r right to vote.\n\n\nStudents in other programs who are engaged in intern
 ships or clinical rotations should consult their supervisors and follow th
 e specific requirements of the institution in which they work.\n\nFor more
