Master's level Internship

- at a Canadian diplomatic representation to take place outside of Canada.

Value & Duration

Annual award of $ 6,000 (non-renewable) 


No deadline. Contest is open until the award of the two annual scholarships.


The candidate must be:

  • Be a Canadian citizen or Permanent Resident
  • Master's level only and enrolled in a full-time Master's program at McGill
  • Full-time accredited internship of at least twelve (12) weeks at a Canadian embassy or consulate.

Required Documents

To qualify, candidates for the scholarship must submit a complete application package containing the following documents:

  • The application form duly completed, dated, and signed;
  • Academic Curriculum vitae;
  • A letter of intent from the candidate that describes his interest in the internship
    and international relations;
  • All official University level transcripts (current Fall session registration status must be indicated)
  • The following documents should also be attached to the file:
  1. A letter of recommendation from the student's director;
  2. A copy of the internship contract which includes the work program and which is validated by all parties (student, university, employer).
