Great work! We are very pleased to have Master's student Audrey Yank, from the department of Bioresource Engineering, receiving special recognition from the jury at "Votre Soutenance en 180 secondes" hosted by L’Association francophone pour le savoir (Acfas). Acfas is a non-profit organization that contributes to the growth of science in Quebec and within the francophone community.

Watch Ms. Yank's presentation.

The competition is inspired by Three minute thesis (3MTMC). Ms. Yank gave a three-minute presentation in French about her research topic, "À la rescousse des arbres : réduire la déforestation en Afrique de l’Ouest" at the Finals in front of a diverse audience.

The competition provided an ideal opportunity to share her valuable research, to perfect her presentation skills, and to network with students across disciplines.

Congratulations to Ms. Yank and best wishes for continued success with her research. For more details about the competition, please visit the "Association pour le savoir-Acfas" website.
