NCDs are a growing concern – here and abroad

Accelerated by a combination of genetic, physiological, social, environmental, and behavioural factors, noncommunicable diseases (NCDs) are taking a growing toll in children and adults worldwide, with low- and middle-income countries disproportionately affected. NCDs are now the leading cause of global mortality and morbidity, accounting for nearly 70% of deaths globally.

But we don't work alone

The Global Noncommunicable Diseases Alliance (GNCDA) maintains multiple partnerships with international sites, promoting and collaborating in research, capacity-building, and educational activities through equal and mutually beneficial exchange.
