DESCRIPTION:RSVP Here! Since WHO declared a “Global TB Emergency” in 1993\
, the global response to tuberculosis has strengthened\, including growing
partnerships\, reinvigorated research and development\, and increased pol
itical commitment. Yet\, human science researchers have been largely left
out of such global discussions. What can anthropologists and other human s
cientists contribute to global health? Why is anthropology critical to the
intellectual study of global health? What are the possibilities for conve
rging agendas for anthropology and global health at McGill University?   I
n this symposium\, we bring together anthropologists researching tuberculo
sis control in contexts around the world towards answering these questions
. Join us for presentations and open discussions on tuberculosis\, global
health\, and potential directions forward. Presenters “Auscultation\, X-
