Applications for the Spring 2018 McGill International TB Centre Travel Awards are now closed.
Established in 2015 and co-sponsored by McGill Global Health Programs, there will be up to 3 Travel awards up to $1,500/each for the Spring 2018 term. These awards are specifically for trainees (students and postdoctoral fellows) in the fields of Tuberculosis and other mycobacterial research, and will be used for traveling (e.g. registration and travel expenses) to present their own research at national and international scientific meetings and/or conferences. Applications are twice per year.
General Instructions and Eligibility Requirements
1. Only students and postdocs who are members of the McGill International TB Centre are eligible to apply.
2. Students whose target conference is scheduled in March or April 2018 will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
As a condition of the award requirements include the following:
A poster presentation of research or activities for which the travel award was given must be presented on Global Health Night (November 2018) and TB Centre Trainee Research Day (June 2018)
