2017 GEPROM Summer Student Symposium

This symposium took place on Friday, August 18th, 2017 at McGill University (see program). Here is a photo of some of the attendees:

Cystic Fibrosis Québec and the team of the McGill CFTRc invite you to discover “The new research approaches in thefield of Cystic Fibrosis: from bench to bedside”. 

This symposium will take place Thursday May 5th, 2016 from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm at the Hôtel Gouverneur Place Dupuis in Montreal, Quebec.
The day will feature 6 outstanding speakers, 2 oral presentation from graduate students/post-docs, a poster session along with a lunch with the exhibitors.
More information regarding the schedule of the day are included in the attached document. 
Please note that registration is free but please register at  before May 2th
The deadline to submit an abstract for an oral presentation is April 22nd and for a poster April 27th.
The CFTRc will be giving a prize to the two students/PDF who will be selected to give a talk.
The symposium will be followed on Friday May 6th by a clinical meeting for care-givers.
We look forward to your presence at this major event in the field of cystic fibrosis research in Quebec with its renown scientific presentations.

Congratulations to Dr. Claire Brown who has been award a CIHR/NSERC team grant for $545 K entitled “Biophysical Tools for the Characterization of Breast Cancer Cell Migration and Invasion” with colleagues Dr. Peter Siegel (GCRC), Luke McCaffrey (GCRC) and  Allen Ehrlicher (BioEngineering).
