Biography: 

In addition to her clinic duties, Dr. Anna Derossis, who also holds a Master’s degree in Health Profession Education from the University of Illinois at Chicago, has an active role in undergraduate, postgraduate and continuing medical educational affairs at the McGill Faculty of Medicine and within the Departments of Surgery and Oncology. She also coordinates the McGill Surgical Oncology fellowship locally at the Sir Mortimer B. Davis-Jewish General Hospital and has had an appointment in the Centre for Medical Education in the Faculty of Medicine since May 2003. Dr. Derossis is a Clinical Investigator on studies from the National Surgical Adjuvant Breast and Bowel Project (NSABP). Her research focuses on sentinel node biopsy in breast cancer and breast cancer education. Her research has also focused on surgical education.
