Dr. Waschke is a gastroenterologist at the McGill University Health Center. His clinical activities include EUS, ERCP, therapeutic endoscopy and general gastroenterology. He is an active clinical teacher, with a particular interest in endoscopy training. He has been involved in the design and implementation of many successful endoscopy training programs, including the CAG SEE Program (Skills enhancement in endoscopy) and ASGE STAR Programs. He has numerous academic roles, notably the current President of the Canadian Association of Gastroenterology and Chair of e-Learning Committee for the ASGE. During the COVID-19 pandemic, he has been the coordinateur de réaffection médical for the MUHC.
