From Saturday, Oct. 5 through Monday, Oct. 7, the Downtown and Macdonald Campuses will be open only to McGill students, employees and essential visitors. Many classes will be held online. Remote work required where possible. See Campus Public Safety website for details.

Jenna Gibbs, KPE, and Claudia Mitchell, DISE, Awarded CFI Funding

The Canada Foundation for Innovation (CFI) has awarded $5.5 million in funding to McGill University researchers to support cutting-edge research facilities and infrastructure across various fields, including health sciences, environmental studies, and engineering.

The funding will help advance research capabilities and foster innovation by providing essential resources and state-of-the-art equipment to McGill's research community, including Professor Jenna Gibbs, KPE, for her work precise, comprehensive and practical musculoskeletal measurements to prevent age-, sex- and disease-specific bone loss, and Professor Claudia Mitchell, DISE, for her work on TRANSFORM: Engaging with young People for social Change.
