Temporary Autonomous Zines: Creative Writing and Grassroots Publishing from the Garden
This Wednesday, July 25, please join us in the McGill Outdoor Education garden from 4:30-6:30 for this week's installation of Temporary Autonomous Zines. Week 8's focus will be letter writing, but we'll be dreaming big and writing letters to public officials, celebrities, fictional characters, role models, and model villains. Maybe we'll send them...maybe we'll just publish them in our zine. We'll start smaller though and have some fun activities writing letters to ourselves, and to one another.
Aron will be away for a couple weeks in August so if others are interested in helping facilitate any of the future sessions, please let us know! We already have a couple of people who are open to helping out but the more the merrier.
People of all backgrounds, interests, and experience levels are welcome! This is a communal effort so if you have no clue how you might contribute, come and we’ll explore together. If you have lots of ideas for facilitating artistic or creative writing challenges, come with your ideas and we’ll all share in directing and providing feedback and support for one another.
