Treating your friends and your professors with lovingly baked goods is a way to show you care, yet millions of farmers who produce the ingredients that go into the treats we enjoy are struggling to make a living.

McGill will join forces with other Canadian campuses on September 28th to help demand a fair deal for disadvantaged farming communities by holding a Fair Trade Bake Sale.  Join us in celebrating Fairtrade farmers and workers by buying goodies made from Fairtrade ingredients.

The event will run from 11 am to 3 pm at

  • Royal Victoria College Dining Hall
  • New Residence Hall
  • Bronfman
  • Med Café
  • Farmer’s Market
  • Y Intersection
  • 688 Sherbrooke
  • McConnell Engineering
  • Macdonald Campus

Proceeds will support flood relief projects at the Norandino coffee co-operative in Northern Peru, as well as Fairtrade education and outreach campaigns on Canadian University campuses.
