The Campus1 Mandatory Meal Plan applies to McGill residence students living in Campus 1 MTL for the academic year 2021-2022.
The Campus1 Mandatory Meal Plan is a declining balance plan linked to your McGill ID card. Funds are deducted from your meal plan each time you purchase food on campus.
- The meal plan is comprised of three accounts; the Home Base account, the Flex account and the oneCard account.

Home Base Account
|These funds can be used in any of the five McGill residential dining halls. This account is tax-exempt.||This account will allow you to purchase food in a number of on-campus food locations, such as Starbucks, Vihn's and more. This account is tax-exempt.||The oneCard account can be used in our off-campus food locations including the Campus1 dining hall and on campus vending machines. This is a taxable account.|
|Your home base account is pre-loaded on your McGill ID card at the beginning of the fall and winter term with $787.50 .||Your flex account is pre-loaded on your McGill ID card at the beginning of the fall and winter term with $337.50.||Your oneCard account is pre-loaded on your McGill ID card at the beginning of the fall and winter term with $1125.00.|
|The funds in this account cannot be transferred over to the flex or oneCard accounts.||At the end of the fall term, the flex account balance will automatically be rolled over to the winter term.||These funds never expire and are valid the entire time you are a McGill student.|
|At the end of the fall semester, your home base account balance will automatically be rolled over to the winter term.|

Any balance leftover in your home base and/or flex accounts at the end of the winter term (in April) will be transferred to the Rollover Plan. The balance in this account is non-refundable.
